Italy Regulator Sets 1Q 08 Pwr Tariff +3.8%, Gas +3.4% On Qtr

ROME -(Dow Jones)- Italy’s energy watchdog said over the weekend prices reserved for households and small companies will increase by 3.8% for electricity and 3.4% for natural gas in the first quarter of next year compared with the last three months of 2007, on the back of surging oil prices.
